For all of you who wonder (openly or privately) where on earth I’m going once I get on that jet plane this Saturday:

Here’s a map.

I’ll be roughly halfway between Berlin and Beijing, among the mountains and valleys to the south of the glorious nation of Kazakhstan. I’ve mapped the cities, lakes, and national parks that I’ll be going through, and I’ll update if anything changes while I’ve got internet access. The places listed at left appear in order, so feel free to follow along. You can check what kind of weather I’m having, too. Feel free to envy the sunshine as long as you pity the heat.
